The Boys of the Bog (or The Boggies, as they like to be called), play traditional music from Ireland.  The music is played in the same spirit as it is played in rural pubs and homes throughout Ireland.  Mostly the lads play dance music like reels, jigs and hornpipes, but occasionally you might hear a song or two or some lovely Irish waltzes (don’t be afraid to dance).  The instruments used are traditional: fiddle, button accordion, tin whistle, guitar, Irish tenor banjo and harmonica.  Although The Boys love to play, they’re a bit picky about who they play for...it has to be a fun loving bunch of potential friends.
