Nota Bene is a baroque ensemble that has been performing in the Bay Area for the last 15 years.  The unique sound of this group is excellent for all types of special events, especially those where elegant classical music is desired, but the preference is for something a bit more unusual than string quartet or trio.  Winds are especially lovely for outdoor settings and tend to project more fully than strings alone.  Nota Bene performs both as a quartet and as a trio (minus harpsichord) and covers the gamut of baroque literature as well as doing arrangements of favorite classical and wedding melodies.
