A female powerhouse, Cha Cha Boom is a 12-piece dance band that explodes with rhythm and song.  Latin percussion, rich piano harmonies and intricate horn lines combine with English lyrics.  It’s decidedly salsa but with the depth and nuance of jazz, rock’s guttural intensity, melodies informed by a pop sensibility and some funk on the 2 and 4.
