From the swamps of Cotati, the levees of Penngrove, and the prairies of Petaluma comes the East Cotati Bayou, Sonoma County’s newest Cajun and Zydeco musical group.  Fiddler Gus Garelick is a veteran of the original Sonoma Swamp Dogs and has also played with Queen Ida and the Bon Ton Zydeco Band.  Joining Gus is accordion maestro Dennis Hadley, Allegra Broughton and Sam Page, vocals, guitar, and bass.  Drummer Don Connolly is the only true resident of East Cotati and one of the area’s most sought-after drummers.  East Cotati Bayou will get everyone on the dance floor with their lively mix of Zydeco, New Orleans R & B, sweet Cajun waltzes and two-steps, with other surprises as well.  When you’re ready to laissez les bon temps roulet, this is the band you’ll want to hear.
