From the swamps of Cotati, the levees of Penngrove, and the prairies of Petaluma comes the The Wild Catahoulas, Sonoma County’s newest Cajun and Zydeco musical group.  Fiddler Gus Garelick is a veteran of the original Sonoma Swamp Dogs and has also played with Queen Ida and the Bon Ton Zydeco Band.  Joining Gus is accordion maestro Dennis Hadley, Allegra Broughton and Sam Page on vocals, guitar, and bass, and drummer Don Connolly, one of the area’s most sought-after drummers.  The Wild Catahoulas will get everyone on the dance floor with their lively mix of Zydeco, New Orleans R & B, sweet Cajun waltzes and two-steps, with other surprises as well.  When you’re ready to laissez les bon temps roulet, this is the band you’ll want to hear.
