Michael Mendelsohn is a native of Valley Stream, Long Island and now a resident of the Bay Area. Frequently seen on the stage, Mr. Mendelsohn has sung major roles in Lucia di Lammermoor with West Bay Opera, and in Tosca with Pacific Repertory Theater in San Luis Obispo. Other operatic engagements have included Northbay Opera’s Die Fledermaus, La Traviata with Cinnabar Theater in Petaluma, The Magic Flute and The Turn of the Screw at West Bay Opera, The Soldiers’ Tale and Abduction from the Seraglio with Pocket Opera of San Francisco, Tales of Hoffmann and The Marriage of Figaro with Livermore Valley Opera. Mr. Mendelsohn has numerous other concert and choral performances with top groups throughout Northern California. Mr. Mendelsohn is an excellent choice for special events of all kinds and can provide exquisite vocals for wedding ceremonies, as well as varied and exciting repertoire for after-dinner performances or private recitals.
