Wally’s Swing World is a seven-piece "little big band" featuring the smooth vocals of Wally Trindade.  Wally also plays guitar and is backed by upright bass, piano, drums, and a three-piece horn section.  The band is based in Santa Cruz, California.  While most of the members of Wally’s Swing World have played together for over fifteen years, they played their first professional gig as Wally’s Swing World in Santa Cruz in 1992.  The group was ahead of the wave of the current swing craze, and their popularity quickly caught on and spread like wildfire. 

Wally’s Swing World plays the standards of the swing era: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, the big band sounds of Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller, jump swing, lounge and more.  The band can also step into a more "modern" mode with the tunes of Bobby Darin, Elvis Presley and other 50’s rock favorites.  Wally and the boys heat things up with a little Latin jazz, samba, salsa, and bossa nova.  Wally’s Swing World is available for nightclub bookings, as well as private, public, and corporate events, including weddings, fairs and festivals.
