Nick Rossi is one of the most popular Hammond organists and bandleaders on the scene today and has been leading his combo since 1997.  Nick’s group continues to feature some of the best young jazz musicicans in the San Francisco area and is a popular fixture at many local nightclubs.  Nick Rossi Set quickly established itself as a premier headline attraction while sharing the stage with such acts as the James Taylor Quartet, Ozomatli amd Big Boss Man.  The group has appeared throughout California, England, Spain and Italy and has released multiple recordings on a number of different labels: Acid Jazz, Trouble and Tea, Bip Bip and Blow It Hard.  Although the sound of the group has continued to change and progress over time, the musical goal of the Nick Rossi Set has always been to provide music for the head, feet and souls of its fans.  By digging deep into the classic soul-jazz and boogaloo bags of Blue Note and Prestige Records and adding a healthy shot of R & B, soul and funk, the group continues to hit the mark.
