Jason Bodlovich has worked as a bandleader for several years and is capable of providing top quality jazz groups for public and private events.  Jazz bands can range in size from duet to sextet with horns.  Trio format is usually drums, bass and piano or guitar.  Musical selections performed focus on traditional 50’s and 60’s jazz performed by artists such as Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk and Dexter Gordon.  Jason also calls on earlier compositions by swing artists such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Louis Armstrong along with classic standards by the Gershwins, Cole Porter and Henry Mancini.  Well devoted to Brazilian and Latin music, Jason chooses from a large catalog of compositions by such composers as Antonio Carlos Job?m, Louis Bonfa, and Astrud Giberto.  Also in the repertoire are the blues and funkier side of jazz genres.
