Born in Ft. Worth, Texas, a childhood move from the the brick Oakcliff neighborhood of Dallas to the outskirts of the east Texas oilfields brought the seven-year-old red-head Geanie Stout close to the musical roots of the blues-jazz tradition that was to become her metier.  That and a southern Baptist piano teacher with a taste for Jelly Roll Morton.  Geanie will be playing in the San Francisco Bay area ...you could still find her at Pier 23 in San Francisco or The No Name Bar in Sausalito...  her favorite bars...There are many long time friends like guitar player Ed Sanchez, Terry Henry, Don Weed, Michael Moss..and of course the fabulous bass player Elaine Herrick from the Napa region...lots of old friends are bound to show up.  We are happy to introduce Snakebite on reeds from New Orleans..don’t miss the fun....
