Alvon and his All-Star Band is led by Alvon Johnson, winner of the 2005 Guitar Player of the Year Award.  Alvon is a former member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame vocal group, "The Coasters".  His rich voice helped create all of the wonderful and familiar songs like Charlie Brown, Yakety Yak, and Poison Ivy.  In addition to his talents as a guitarist and music director for numerous CDs, Alvon is also a versatile, multi-talented entertainer with years of experience on stage.  His choice of songs are tasteful and thoughtful.  He knows how to make you comfortable and he knows how to get you off your seat and dancing all night.
